Temple Emanuel offers an extensive program for students who need extra help learning Hebrew. Margery Ross coordinates a Hebrew Learning Resource Room and oversees a staff of tutors who work one-on-one or in small groups with students.

In consultation with parents and, at times, a student’s secular school teacher, a personalized program is designed for each student. Some students spend part of Hebrew study in the regular classroom with other students and part of the time with the tutor. Others study only with the tutor. Often, teachers identify students in need of some individual assistance.
